3rd Annual Spring Tune Up Clinic with Sarah Brown of Worthy Trails Horsemanship
This clinic is for riders of all levels, and is designed to give a refresher course in horsemanship and riding skills to prepare you for the upcoming trail season. Open to all levels of riders, this clinic focuses on building the confidence, trust, and communication necessary for safety on the trail. Throughout the morning, we will go over basic horsemanship to handle your horse effectively, ground work exercises to keep your horse focused and calm on the trail, how to develop the “try” in your horse, and obstacle training to learn how to guide your horse through new environments. The afternoon will cover how to translate ground work into under saddle work, balanced riding to communicate with your horse, confidence in all gaits, and how to negotiate a trail course. We will end our clinic with a group trail ride through natural obstacles on the private trails of our 180 acres property.
